7pm. It was drizzling and the chilly weather lightened my mood. I craved for chiffon cake and decided to give it a try. Well, it didn’t turn out to be a perfect piece of dessert. A little too sweet a little zesty-lemony and well, it didn’t rise like how a chiffon cake would. Did it matter? NOPE. I had so much fun messing around in the kitchen, playing with every ingredient, beating the batter, watching it turned golden in the oven. It was the few hours escaping and singing away that really mattered.
